From a Torn Curtain to a Confession

Some of the most mysterious verses in the Gospels are those found in Matthew 27:50-54. These verses raise many more questions than answers! A torn curtain in the temple – a major earthquake – tombs broken open – dead bodies raised to life and appearing to many in Jerusalem. Was the temple veil literally torn? Did it expose the Holy of Holies? Was this a real resurrection of the dead? Was the confession of the Roman soldiers salvation for them? The week before Easter, let’s look at the possibilities!
