Perfect Message – Imperfect
Messengers

Philippians
1: 12-18 – Paul, in prison, writes a letter to the church in Philippi
and states that his imprisonment has “really served to advance the
Gospel.” There were two groups of preachers
that were taking charge in his stead.
One group was preaching with good motives, the other group was preaching
with bad motives. And Paul asks, “But
what does it matter? The important thing
is….Christ is preached.” What does it matter? Doesn’t motive matter when preaching the
Gospel? What could Paul be talking
about? How God uses imperfect messengers
to get His perfect message out to the world.
