Among the
most profound passages in the Bible is the collection of verses in John 1:1-18.
Here we find a description of the Messiah in some of the deepest and most
thought-provoking verses in the New Testament as well as showing the prophecy
of the Old Testament fulfilled in the WORD. We will study to see why the
Apostle John describes the Messiah as “the Word,” what the characteristics are
of “the Word,” and why “the Word” is unique in all history, and why “the Word”
is fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
