Isaiah - Servant Songs

Over 700
years before Christ, the Holy Spirit gave the prophet Isaiah some very detailed
descriptions of the coming Messiah and His works. These four sections of verses have long been
referred to as The Servant Songs. The
Servant, the Messiah, is here described as the King Servant as well as the
Suffering Servant. As Christians, we know that these attributes would both be
fulfilled in Jesus Christ. God uses His
Servant both to bring the nation of Israel back to Him, as well as bring
salvation to the Gentiles to all the earth.
