Hebrews – Return of the King/Priest

September 18, 2011 – March 25, 2012

Arguably the most “Jewish” book of the New Testament, Hebrews stands out as a methodical, reasoned approach to prove that the Old Covenant has passed and, through Jesus Christ, the New Covenant is now in effect.  A wonderful, detailed explanation of how Christ has fulfilled all the Temple rituals and sacrifices, Hebrews encourages the reader to take these truths and live in the confidence Christ has given us.  The last five lessons focus on the ‘troublesome verses’ in Hebrews – Hebrews 6:4-6 and Hebrews 10:26-31.  These are the verses that have been argued about for centuries and ask the basic question, “Can I lose my salvation?”
