After
studying Jesus’ claims of Deity and refreshing our foundational Christian
beliefs, we now study what happened in the final moments of Christ’s life. His last words from the cross were desperate cries
to God the Father asking why Jesus was being forsaken. Jesus, fully God, was sinless. Jesus, fully man, bore all sin and took the
penalty of that sin in that moment.
