There are many claims about Islam that are focused upon as being in line with Christian beliefs. Islam says, “We believe in one God, just as you do.” They say, “We believe in Jesus also – the Quran even refers to him as Messiah – just as you do.” They state that they believe in the same prophets of the Bible & that the Quran teaches to love God and love your neighbor – just as the Bible does. So, can Christians agree that Islam is not that different from Christianity? Or are there foundational differences that form a chasm that cannot be spanned? This study looks into those similarities and differences.
