Faiths – 3 End Times

It seems as though there is a lot of attention being
directed toward what is commonly called “the end of time.” Even the secular culture uses descriptions of
“the end of the world.” In the three
Abrahamic faiths (which compose about half of the world’s population) there is
an emphasis placed on teachings of “the end times.” Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have a
good deal of information in their scriptures regarding a point where they all
sort of intersect at a future time. What
can we learn by studying the different teachings – can we better understand our
own Scriptures? Can we discern truth
from deception? Are all end time teachings the same? If not, why not? Can we better deal with our present as we
better understand our future?
